Chiswick Bazaar

Brief
Design the new identity for the Chiswick Bazaar, a vintage fair to be held at Chiswick Town Hall.
Solution
The simple bold font is elegant, yet direct and to the point. We felt a suitable way to make the styling work would be to almost treat the design with a ‘letterpress’ effect; to give the effect that something that’s been printed, but isn’t completely perfect, and therefore says vintage and cool. Using bright, yet slightly muted cut-out shapes of recognisble objects that are over-laid (therefore offering further interesting shape / colour combination’s) onto a textured background, we felt this was a strong look and feel for the Bazaar.
